My pilgrimage to Indiana and the blog

On Tuesday, I will be making the trip to Indiana to finalize the legal name change. I have a few sets of clothes packed and enough food to get me there and maybe to help me survive the trip back. I have enough reading material to interest me for the trip there, and when I get back, I will bring back the rest of my reading materials in my second suitcase (hope Areya can spare $5 for the extra suitcase fee that Greyhound levies, I am broke after Wells Fargo levied one false overdraft fee too many). Other than that, I am totally ready and excited to attend the name change hearing before the judge in the middle-of-fucking-nowhere, Indiana. And I am totally excited to head the hell back here to Colorado and obtain my fully female ID card with the DR 2083 that I had to have Dr. Wilson sign.

I am actively working on each and every one of the drafts for posts on my blog. I have like eight drafts that are currently in my drafts category of the WordPress dashboard. And it always annoys me to leave posts like these lying around. So, I have decided to spend Monday working on all of these drafts and schedule my blog software to automatically reveal each post by each day. Of course, I am going to make my blog software post each draft at different types of the day so that people can keep coming back to the blog (which I really don’t have a problem). Of course, you could just subscribe to the RSS feed which will ultimately update you on when this blog is updated. Oops, I said too much…

Also, I got a couple of pieces of literary gems from the ‘free book’ shelf at my UU church yesterday. Along with the pizza and juice that was served to everyone at the showing of The 11th Hour, my new membership at First Unitarian Denver is already paying for itself. I picked up a copy of by . I also got a book for my Wiccan friend, which is now back to talking with me (yay!). Plus, even though my name tag was not ready for me to put one of my new rainbow flag stickers that I got from Heaven Sent Me on Broadway. I talked to Dee and she promised me that my name tag would be ready next week. So, I gave my friends Justine and Maja a couple of rainbow stickers to put on their membership tag. And I am going to be ready to put one on mine. And of course, I plan to show it off for the next service and the Pathways to Membership class.

I started handing out my ‘Is God Real?’ non-tracts that I printed off from NormalBobSmith.com. I got a request for one in Spanish, since someone at the bus stop could not read it. So, I have e-mailed Normal Bob Smith asking him to call out to his readers and listeners to translate his non-tracts to Spanish, since I do not know enough spanish to hold a decent conversation in Spanish, let alone translate an entire non-tract. So, please Normal Bob, if you are reading this - HELP ME OUT! I want to help spread the good news about Atheism, but about 30% of the people I encounter around Civic Centre Station speak Spanish only. And many of these people are religious - so these people desparately need the good news of atheism. So, yes, please do this!
