Pridefest, yay!

Well, I am volunteering at Denver Pridefest on both the 21st and the 22nd of this month. I am also going to be marching in the pride parade with my fellow UUs from the Mountain Desert District. So yeah, next weekend is pretty full for me, as I will probably be operating some sort of booth and policing the area to ensure that no one is selling anything at the Pridefest without having paid the GLBT Centre first. Tomorrow is my volunteer orientation so that is what I am doing after I get through with Pathways to Membership at First Unitarian Denver tomorrow.

So, what is so special about Pridefest this year? Try the fact that it is my first pride parade that I have ever been to, volunteered at and ultimately marched in. Also, the pride parade is on my 21st birthday. Yes, this is a VERY convenient and special coincidence, one that I did not have any part in what-so-ever. And ultimately, I am just going to dress pretty modestly, like I would on any other day. Okay, maybe a little make-up just for the parade, it is a very happy occasion after all. I would like to have more to say, but I am just so excited to write anything else that happens to be coherent.

Not that what I have written already is coherent…
