I have decided to do something weird on this blog. On my last post, you will have seen an odd tag (rtd16). I plan to start tagging my posts that mention something that happens on the bus with the transit authority’s name (in this case, RTD) and the bus number (in this case, 16). This may be seen as a form of geolocation. It may even be seen as an interesting way to keep tabs on what buses I use, I don’t know. I just thought it would be interesting to do. So, keep reading the blog and I hope you enjoy what I write!

Today started off in a very interesting manner. For a few Sundays now, I have been going to this church called “Faith Ministries” a/k/a “Faith Bible Chapel West” here in Denver. I have agreed to go in a hopeful effort to try to shut some of the theists that regularly annoy the shit out of me up. Anyways, the church offers a breakfast to anyone who attends so while I was eating my breakfast, the minister told me that I am a “unapologetic atheist” (of course, on this point, he is right - which is a rarity for him) and I will never ever be saved. With that, he also told me to leave the church and never come back. Since this guy was a hypocrite and a liar, I would be more than happy to leave rather than hear this asshole preach. I am not an angry person, seriously! However, I do have a difficult time with people from my past using my male name. To be honest, it sickens me to no end and I feel completely horrible that some people have to be such sleazebags to continue to use the old name, at least (they claim) until the name change. Guess what? I am Jessica and I am not that old male persona. So, please show me a little fucking respect and dignity by calling and referring to me by my name. Sorry, had to vent there! When I was checking out my feed reader today, I learned that a 9-year-old transgendered girl is coming out as who she really is, with the help of school administration. When I first started reading this post, I thought “wow, maybe just maybe the world is becoming easier for people to transition in”. But then, I started to read through the post and I found the part and parcel bigotry and hate that comes from the small-minded parents of children going to the same elementary school. There are people that believe honestly that there are children that represent a higher state of evolution, according to New Age beliefs. These children happen to have an indigo aura around them, hence the name “Indigo Children”. When I found the comic Cetic the other day, I found something for the people who believe in Intelligent Design. It’s a website called External Delivery and it rejects the idea of parentism, or the idea that parents are the ones who put the presents under the tree - not Santa Claus. Of course, we all know that this is false and we all know that Santa brings the presents that we see under the tree on Christmas day, not parents. I have a lot to say, I do! Don’t get me wrong, I am still the highly opinionated atheist that everyone knows me to be. It’s just that my Cellular Internet connection has been cut off by Sprint because I refuse to pay a bill higher than what I was supposed to pay (damn those assholes!). So yeah, I’ve taken an unintentional weeklong hiatus from writing on the blog. Tune in next week though, because I will continue my evaluation of Satanism, the UUA’s principles, the fucked up beliefs of fundamentalist Christians and maybe I can even get an interview with someone from the Church of Satan *gasp*. Who knows? But either way, tune in next week for some definitely awesome jams!
