My computer is broken!

Sad to announce, my Macbook Pro breathed it’s last breaths and keeled over on Sunday (or was it Monday, hell if I know). Can computers breathe? Meh, why debate semantics at a time like this. My computer fell off my lap and I think that may have busted the processor or the ram chips or something. Hopefully, it wasn’t the hard drive, because I have 3 years of music on that hard drive and I don’t want to lose it! But regardless, I plan to start blogging about the name change and the crap that I had t

My pilgrimage to Indiana and the blog

On Tuesday, I will be making the trip to Indiana to finalize the legal name change. I have a few sets of clothes packed and enough food to get me there and maybe to help me survive the trip back. I have enough reading material to interest me for the trip there, and when I get back, I will bring back the rest of my reading materials in my second suitcase (hope Areya can spare $5 for the extra suitcase fee that Greyhound levies, I am broke after Wells Fargo levied one false overdraft fee too many). Other than that, I am totally ready and excited to attend the name change hearing before the judge in the middle-of-fucking-nowhere, Indiana. And I am totally excited to head the hell back here to Colorado and obtain my fully female ID card with the DR 2083 that I had to have Dr. Wilson sign. A new convention on this blog

I have decided to do something weird on this blog. On my last post, you will have seen an odd tag (rtd16). I plan to start tagging my posts that mention something that happens on the bus with the transit authority’s name (in this case, RTD) and the bus number (in this case, 16). This may be seen as a form of geolocation. It may even be seen as an interesting way to keep tabs on what buses I use, I don’t know. I just thought it would be interesting to do. So, keep reading the blog and I hope you enjoy what I write!

My weeklong hiatus

I have a lot to say, I do! Don’t get me wrong, I am still the highly opinionated atheist that everyone knows me to be. It’s just that my Cellular Internet connection has been cut off by Sprint because I refuse to pay a bill higher than what I was supposed to pay (damn those assholes!). So yeah, I’ve taken an unintentional weeklong hiatus from writing on the blog. Tune in next week though, because I will continue my evaluation of Satanism, the UUA’s principles, the fucked up beliefs of fundamentalist Christians and maybe I can even get an interview with someone from the Church of Satan *gasp*. Who knows? But either way, tune in next week for some definitely awesome jams!

National Day of Silence

Hello, my friends. I would like to let everyone know that effective 12:00am on the 25th of April, I will not respond to any communication (phone calls, e-mails, messages). This is in honour and recognition of the National Day of Silence, a day which is used to resemble the silence that some people tolerate when the topic of homophobia is brought up.

I will be more than happy to respond to your messages and communications after the National Day of Silence. I thank you in advance for your patience and consideration.

You are going to hell!

I get that phrase all the time. It is the short form of “You are going to hell because you do not believe as I believe”. Or “You are going to hell because you are a male-to-female transsexual and refuse to respect the perfection of god’s work/plan/etc”. Or even “You are going to hell because you had sex with another transsexual and this is an abomination in the eyes of the lord!”. There are a number of other variations that I will ultimately cover below, but I would like to tell you right now that I am not going to hell. In fact, I do not believe that there is even a hell, so telling me that I am going to someplace that I don’t even believe exists is not a way to ‘win me over’ to your side.
