For the past few days, I have been wondering why my website’s hits have been set to zero. And of course, this started on the day when I updated the K2 theme on my blog. Of course, I did not realize this until I looked at my Feedburner stats today. Humm, 10 subscribers and 3 hits today? Something isn’t right… So, I continue to try to figure out what the problem was and then it hit me - I forgot to add the Mint code to my K2 header.php file when I updated the theme! So, I decided to check to see if this was the case. It was, I saw that the source code to have Mint tracking on this site was missing. So, I went into Mint, copied the code and pasted it into K2. I wonder if there is a plugin that allows the Mint code to automatically be included so I don’t have to remember each time that I update the theme…

Hiya! In an effort to continue to promote sites that I thoroughly enjoy, through the wordpress API (So I don’t have to do much more than add them in the Admin control panel) and to continue to save space on my sidebar, I have added a links section to my website. I am going to try to regularly post relevant and interesting links to the atheist, non-religious, transsexual and LGBT communities, as well as links of my friend’s website and links to places where you can generally have some fun. And while I do paid weblog postings, I assure you that I will NOT be accepting any sort of cash offer to be linked on this page. So, check it out!
I have a certain set of tools that I actively use to post to my blog. While it can be posted to when I am at any computer, I use the following hardware most of the time when I am writing on my blog. As a former tech-obssessed geek, I have a tech preference for certain brands as I have had experience with cheap crap. Dell, Lexmark and other craptacular brands like that are obviously low quality and I would never purchase them. However, Apple and Pentax are brands that I trust, because they have never broken down through reasons that could not be blamed on me. However, these things of mine fall apart thanks to being in my possession. Continue reading ‘What I use to author this blog’
On Tuesday, I will be making the trip to Indiana to finalize the legal name change. I have a few sets of clothes packed and enough food to get me there and maybe to help me survive the trip back. I have enough reading material to interest me for the trip there, and when I get back, I will bring back the rest of my reading materials in my second suitcase (hope Areya can spare $5 for the extra suitcase fee that Greyhound levies, I am broke after Wells Fargo levied one false overdraft fee too many). Other than that, I am totally ready and excited to attend the name change hearing before the judge in the middle-of-fucking-nowhere, Indiana. And I am totally excited to head the hell back here to Colorado and obtain my fully female ID card with the DR 2083 that I had to have Dr. Wilson sign. I have decided to do something weird on this blog. On my last post, you will have seen an odd tag (rtd16). I plan to start tagging my posts that mention something that happens on the bus with the transit authority’s name (in this case, RTD) and the bus number (in this case, 16). This may be seen as a form of geolocation. It may even be seen as an interesting way to keep tabs on what buses I use, I don’t know. I just thought it would be interesting to do. So, keep reading the blog and I hope you enjoy what I write!
